Hello, my name is Daniel Gonzalez and I am an 8th grader at the Mendez Fundamental Intermediate School. I love to draw a lot and I draw when I have nothing else to do or when I get bored. I love basketball even more than anything. Pictures and me really don't get along together very much. I don't like taking pictures of myself at all. This page won't have a picture of me for that reason. I am currently 12 years old and I will be 13 in November 25th. I was born and raised in Santa Ana,CA. I live with my mom, dad, bigger sister, and smaller brother. I hope this helped you learn more about me. PLG: Professional Learning Goals Short term goal:

Reflection
I think I am keeping up with my short term goal very well. I am going straight to my homework when i get home. My long term goal still needs work which is why it is a long term goal. I am right handed so being able to control the ball with my left hand is a difficult task but I know I am making improvements because I can make lay-ups with my left hand more often than failing them. I can also dribble better with my left hand and perform crossovers with ease. I am focused on my 6 month goal a lot. I try to go to the park daily and play 1 to 2 hours when I am there. Wish me luck :)
PLG: Check-in and Map Data Report
I have done well achieving my first goal and trying to sleep early. Sometimes though, I do sleep late because of a lot of homework. I have limited those days by getting ahead on work and focusing when doing homework. I want to continue going to the park to achieve my seconds goal but it has been raining so much so I am not allowed to go practice. I feel like I can make it to the basketball team because I have improved so much since 7th grade. I am working on my 3rd goal because I am still having a bit of trouble with my left hand.
My overall score on the MAP test did go down by 1 point. My goal was 230 and I got 227. I feel like I need to work on paying more attention to what I am reading. On the Spring MAP test I expect to pass my goal by a lot because of how much I will have learned and because I will try my hardest.
